Lottie’s Bakehouse specialises in handmade and hand-packaged gluten free cakes and sweet baked goods. Marianne’s youngest daughter Lottie, now 8 is the inspiration behind the company, which bears her name. At just 23 months Lottie was diagnosed as coeliac and although her family soon got to grips with the condition, it was heart-breaking for them to deny her the treats that most two-year olds take for granted. Determined that Lottie would not suffer, Marianne began to bake, first at home, and then as the business increased in size, from new, strictly-controlled gluten free premises in the heart of the Cheshire countryside.
